Norfolk SuDs in schools

As part of the Department for Education’s SuDS in Schools Programme We are happy to show images regarding the completion of our Norfolk works. The involvement of staff and students was essential to the project's success, as they contributed valuable ideas and priorities for sustainable water management. With support from Greener Growth on the outline design and Concertus handling detailed design and project management, these concepts have been successfully realised.

The final installations were delivered across Thompson Primary School, Woodton Primary School, Watton Infant & Junior schools and Wayland Academy and include:

  • Sensory garden, rain gardens and a Bioswale

  • Fruit tree planting

  • Watercourse clearance

  • Drainage improvements

  • 12 SuDS Pods, provided by Anglian Water and Green Blue Urban

  • 5 BioScape pods

  • 4 Cellular Tree pits and improved surface works
